Survivor auto-battler
A fruit squad against every pest in the garden.
A survivor game with a fruit squad. Your orange hero fires on its own, so all you do is move, and the garden pests close in from every side, thicker every second. Pick up the gems they drop and every level-up spins three reels that land on three upgrades, and you keep all three: attack speed, damage, life steal, a wider magnet. Every few levels a spell tree opens, from circling blades to an ice orb and falling meteors. Elite pests carry chests, a Weapon Rush at one minute hands you a new gun, and at five minutes the stage boss arrives. Between runs, open chests for gear, merge three of a kind into something better, train talents and recruit five more fruit, each with a passive of its own. Twelve stages, from Corner Park to The Rot.

Press the big yellow stage button, then PLAY. Your hero and its weapons fire by themselves at the nearest pest, so your only job is where to stand: drag anywhere on a phone to move with the thumbstick, or use WASD or the arrow keys. Walk over the gems that pests drop to fill the bar at the top. Every time it fills, three reels spin and you get all three upgrades they land on; every few levels you also pick a spell. Grab the blade bubbles at the start for a ring of machetes. Dash with the button in the corner or Space when it turns gold. Survive five minutes and the boss arrives: beat it to clear the stage and unlock the next.
Pulp Panic is drawn entirely in code on a 2D canvas, with no image files at all: every fruit, pest, blade and button is painted by the game itself, which is why it opens in about a second. Its difficulty was not guessed. Test players that play whole careers - earning coins, buying gear, retrying stages - were run through it, and the curve was tuned on how many attempts each stage takes rather than on win rates. That is how it was found that stacking percentage upgrades on top of each other produced a hero with tens of thousands of health; every percentage now adds to the base instead.
The same rule: your weapons fire by themselves, you only move, and every level-up makes you stronger while the swarm gets thicker. Pulp Panic plays in a browser tab on a phone, in five-minute stages that end in a boss fight, and every level-up grants three upgrades instead of one. Between runs there is gear to merge, talents to train and a squad of six fruit to choose from.
Vampire Survivorsis someone elseโs game and not affiliated with GamerX. It is named here because it is the clearest way to describe what Pulp Panic is.
