Blob runner
Steer a wobbling stack of neon ooze blobs through a glowing mushroom swamp, doubling it at blob machines and swerving past acid pits and low tunnels. Duck into the toxic sewer lane for double gems, then get out before the sludge crawler arrives.

You bounce a stack of glowing ooze blobs through a mushroom swamp, steering by drag or with the arrow keys. Blob machines double the stack, acid pits and low tunnels shrink it, and at the end every blob fills one row of the vat. Fill it all for the full reward; run out part-way and the level still finishes, with the vat only part full. Running alongside the main route is a toxic sewer lane that pays double gems, which is the decision the game keeps asking you to make: the gems are genuinely worth twice as much, and a sludge crawler comes down that lane for whoever takes them, melting half the stack. Everything is lit in neon against a dark swamp, so the hazards and the gates are readable at speed even when the stack is large.
Ooze Overload is a growth runner with a risk lane, and the reason it works is legibility. Neon-on-dark is not just a look - it means the blob gates, the acid and the crawlers each have a distinct colour signature you can parse at speed, which is what allows the game to run as fast as it does without becoming unfair. The stack is the other choice worth noticing: it leans a little as you steer but follows your finger closely, so a lane change is a decision you make rather than a fight with the controls.
