Mob battler
A top-down army-builder: slide to steer your squad down a narrow causeway, growing through ×2 gates and losing numbers to the obstacles you don't dodge in time. Reach the enemy camp at the end with enough of a horde left and it's theirs, not yours anymore.

A top-down march down a narrow causeway. Drag or use left and right to slide your squad sideways, steering it through x2 gates that double your numbers and away from the obstacles that cut them down. The causeway is narrow enough that a gate and a hazard are often close together, so most decisions are about how much of the squad you are willing to expose to reach the multiplier. At the end is an enemy camp: arrive with enough of a horde and you take it, arrive thin and you do not. The squad's width grows with its size, which makes the same gap progressively harder to thread.
Horde Commander is a mob-battler with a single axis of movement and a single decision repeated under pressure, and it is the most compact version of that idea in the arcade. The design detail that makes it more than an arithmetic exercise is that the squad has physical width proportional to its size, so success narrows your options: the same gap that was comfortable with twenty units is a real threat with two hundred, and the game gets harder purely as a consequence of going well. It is a Unity WebGL build. Like the other hidden games it is off the shelves but still reachable, because older articles link to it.
