Board game
A highly polished 3D Ludo board game featuring dynamic lighting, glass tokens, and responsive dice mechanics. Outsmart the CPU heuristic or play local multiplayer against your friends.
Free to play, no download, no sign-up. Hosted with ❤ by GamerX.
Ludo, for two to four players. Click or tap to roll, then click the token you want to move. A six gets a token out of its yard and earns another roll; everything else moves a token the number rolled. Landing on a square occupied by a single enemy token sends it home to start again, which is the whole tension of the game - a token nearly home is also a token with the most to lose. The coloured home column at the end of your lap can only be entered by your own tokens, and you need the exact number to finish. Get all four home first and you win. You can play the computer or hand the device round for a local game.
Ludo Legends is a straightforward, carefully made implementation of a game most people already know, which means the work went into the parts that usually go wrong. The dice roll is physically simulated rather than a number with an animation played over it, so it lands where it lands. The tokens are glass, lit so that colours stay distinguishable against the board from every camera angle - the common failure in 3D board games is that two of the four players cannot tell their pieces apart. The computer opponent plays a real heuristic rather than moving at random, weighing the risk of leaving a token exposed against the value of advancing it. It runs on Babylon.js, which is a WebGL engine, so it is genuine 3D in a browser tab.
